I am a Republican, a black, dyed in the wool Republican, and I never intend to belong to any other party other than the party of freedom and progress.

Republicans for Blacks

REPUBLICANS FOR BLACKS???
THAT'S NOT WHAT i WAS TOLD!!!
COULD IT POSSIBLY BE TRUE?

Here is what has happened in 2017 and 2018 since Trump and the Republicans have been in power.

  * African-American unemployment has hit a record low of 5.9% in May of 2018.
  * Poverty rates for African-Americans have reached their lowest levels ever recorded.
  * President Trump is promoting private investment in "opportunity zones" in more than 8,700                       distressed communities across the U.S. which aims to bring prosperity to many poor                                 neighborhoods where many blacks are currently living.
  * President Trump signed a Prison Reform Bill that will allow thousands of prisoners to be released             from prison early and give many blacks who are re-entering society early a higher success rate so             they do not return to prison again.

SO WHAT HAVE REPUBLICANS DONE BEFORE TRUMP?
LET'S START AT THE BEGINNING OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY...

  * The Republican Party started with Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican President, who freed the             slaves.
  * Following the Civil War, the Republicans passed the 13th Amendment that freed the slaves without           one Democrat vote.
  * The 14th Amendment was passed by Republicans which gave  blacks citizenship.
  * The 15th Amendment, which was also passed by Republicans, gave blacks the right to vote.
  * In 1870, the first black Senator and the first black Congressman was sworn in. Both were Republicans.
  * Every black congressman until 1935 was a Republican.
  * Every black Senator unti 1975 was also a Republican.
  * In the 1920's Republican President Calvin Coolidge declared that the rights of blacks are "just as               sacred as any other citizen."
  * The Civil Rights Act of 1960 that outlawed poll taxes which were meant to keep blacks from voting,           was filibustered by 19 Democrats for 125 hours  and not one Republican opposed the bill.
  * The follow-up Civil Rights Act of 1964 was also filibustered by Democrats and given overwhelming           support from Republicans.

SO WHAT DO REPUBLICANS DO FOR BLACKS TODAY?
AND WHAT DO THE DEMOCRATS DO TODAY?

   * The Republicans treat blacks as equals.
   * The Democrats treats blacks as victims who aren't capable of succeeding.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS DONE MUCH TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF BLACKS.

REPUBLICANS ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND STILL ARE WORKING FOR
EQUAL RIGHTS AND A BETTER LIFE STYLE FOR BLACKS.
